♥ ultimate fatigue
someone save me please.
2 years in hwachong has made me realised a few things about academia:
i really really hate exams, especially hwachong exams. they just demoralise you, in attempt to motivate you to work harder next time. Apparently, this tactic didn't work for me because i failed far too many times and I have become increasingly indifferent towards bad grades.
Besides that, the more remedials i have, the more compelled I am to do better for those particular subjects (math and GP) because i don't want to disappoint my teachers. It is not fair to them that they put in the effort to help weaker students yet their hard work are not reciprocated. This tactic might work on me to study harder but i have proven myself to be a great let down.
2 years is far too short for the not-so-smart students to be fully aware of the requirements of the subjects for A levels. In Hwa Chong, we learn more than what is required. More often than not, students who are unclear of the syllabus would focus on irrelevant sub-topics and end up doing badly for school examinations. Why make things so hard for students (like me) to digest? I heard that RJC give concise notes and students, as a habit, would read up for further information. Teachers of HCI commented that "RJC students are more self-independent learners" whereas students of HCI need to be spoonfed because we couldn't be bothered to find out more. Those smarter ones definitely have no problems in scoring for examinations, but nincompoops like me probably like the spoonfeed method better.
Anyway random comments. i don't even think i make alot of sense and my arguement sucks totally. i probably earn another "U" for GP yet again. i just hope my grades would improve for BT2 because i put much more effort to study smart.
