♥ confused and worried
i do things rather last minute most of the time and i am getting into a rather deep trouble because i may risk my A level results for the sake good SATs scores. :(
Oh well, last chance to do a service for myself. WEI TING NEEDS A CHANGE OF ENVIRONMENT FOR HER EDUCATION! SINGAPORE IS TOO STIFLING even though she is a 宅女! GAHH. (*rmbs her good 宅男 friend... T.T) Come on, start working hard!! I need to do well for A levels, no one can save me if i don't. My parents are not rich enough to buy me a place in good universities. hmm.
Anyway, WOOO! I FAILED GP. not a great disappointment because i have been getting the same grade anyway. But i am more worried about how can i do well in GP. I have done tons of comprehension papers btw, more than anyone who scores C and above for GP this time. My language is the main problem. my language is really weak man, anyone can suggest how to improve it? My writing is really bad.. even the marker suggests that i improve on my language before working on my content. Is GP really that muggable? Some ppl said just mug the content. but the thing is how would u know wad content u need to mug? not all the examples are applicable to the same essay genre what. it is really quite sad if you need to purposely squeeze the knowledge in and try to make it link. haiz, i still like personal recount better. why should english simply be argumentative? and why do the subject expect students to give very world-smart answers? I know that the whole point is to be well-read but den again, even the person with the best knowledge may nt even be able to answer the questions properly, in an argumentative way. There is really too little exposure to all these world affairs. As in why are we arguing for the sake of arguing? the scientists or politicians can't even solve the problems themselves. As if what we are writing would make a big difference. We are not even HEARD. But i don't deny that GP issues are really quite interesting. why can't GP be short answers >< sian. Alright, pointless arguement. No way that GP is going to change format anyway.
Played mahjong at kheex house today! super duper fun, but rather tired. meijiao's damn blur. haha. xiaoniao, 2wan, 3wan. omg, and she actually went to chi the tile from kheex ><><>< sryy guys! i took your money in the end. GAH, i shud have just insist that i don't want to take their money.
went home and slpt. missed like half an hours of nan ba. damn it. but the show very naggy, why can't ALAN AND AIHUA quickly get together man. and wu ge ren got out of the finals. sian, i kinda supported them la, fellow hwachongians!
den, check out collegeboard and i left the payment part undone. btw, i can't register for chinese sats lor. singapore doesn't have test centers for chinese. ta ma de. decided to take bio, chem and math in the end. hope i can do well. den chieong for As. den chieong reasoning test. SO LONG AS i get better score than my first SAT, i am more than happy already. I shall consult Claire! haha ask her to give me pointers :) I really really wanna do well, i want to go CORNELL AND ECOLE HOTELIER AND GLION INSTITUTE! haha. yepp, i alr thought through liao. i wanna go for attachment at the hotel, at least get some first hand experience so that the universities can consider me! CONISDER ME PLS! I will be good! I promise!
Alright, i wanna watch my shen diao xia lv le! good night ppl! Hope that GP remedial tmr will be fruitful. haiz, actually i dun really understand why so many ppl wanna go GP remedial. I really think that it is harder for Miss Yan to focus on the really weaker students like me. I know i sound rather selfish but it is the fact. Can't they just book another consult date? haiz. nvm. random. i probably get beaten up by my friends for saying that.
